Spawning Salmon Hundreds of these pink salmon return each fall to their birthplace in a creek that runs into the Green River at Flaming Geyser State Park. The water was a turmoil of slaps and splashes as females prepared redds (nests in bottom sand), loosed their eggs and males released their milt for the next generation.
